Once in a Blue Moon at Old Spitalfield Market

Coming to London this June is the free interactive art installation brought to you by USA’s #1 craft beer, Blue Moon, called “Once in a Blue Moon”. Old Spitalfields Market near Liverpool St Station will be the host for this exhibition on Friday 23rd and Saturday 24th June, between 12:00-22:00.

“Once in a Blue Moon” consists of a wishing tree covered in hanging oranges and features an array of light, sound and orange scents to wow the senses. This art project was inspired by the story behind Blue Moon itself, which was initially brewed by Keith Villa in the Colorado Rockies’ baseball stadium. The assistant brewer at the time commented that “a beer this good only comes around once in a blue moon”, which gave the idea for the name behind this craft beer.

Londoners are encouraged to visit this pop-up installation and dream big. People will cast a wish and add it to the wishing tree. The first 100 people to arrive at Old Spitalfields Market and make a wish on the Blue Moon wishing tree will receive a token for a free half pint of Blue Moon to be redeemed at the orange crate bar and enter for a chance to win 1 of 25 crates of beer.

So get down there, dream big and enjoy a delicious half pint of Blue Moon.
