Boost Oxygen Review

oxygen

I have heard that Vegas Casinos pump oxygen through their ventilation systems to keep gamblers alert and awake enough to stay playing all night long. Regardless whether that is a myth or not, there is scientific proof of the benefits of pure oxygen including curing hangovers, reducing stress, relaxing muscles. Yet every time I’ve attended a bar which has an oxygen bar, this section has always been closed so I’ve never got to experience it myself.

Boost Oxygen is 95% oxygen and 5% aroma and ambient air. Boost Oxygen is all-natural and contains no caffeine, calories or any other unnatural stimulants. All in a can! It’s lightweight and used by a variety of different people from athletes to hikers to celebrities to the elderly.

I was sent a can of Boost Oxygen’s Peppermint Aromatherapy. It’s stated to ‘speed up recovery, minimize muscle pain, enhance mental alertness, treat indigestion, respiratory problems, headache, fever and pain’. Given that I have been trying to shake of a flu virus that’s been terrorising my office lately, I was ready to look for anything that would make me feel better and reduce some of my symptoms.

The instructions say you’re supposed to place the can over your mouth and inhale. Hold the oxygen in your lungs for a short period and then exhale. Repeat this two or three times. The peppermint flavour was nice but I did get a slight head rush. It also caused me to cough a few times which did clear my lungs immensely. Also my headache did disappear after the head rush subsided and I did feel more alert.

Is Boost Oxygen the way of the future or is it a quick purely a gimmick? I don’t know but the thousands of consumers seem to love it. And if it promises a quick hangover fix… well it’s a plus in my books
