Dead Dolls House Thursday Feasts

aj3oJIL8This April will see feasting at an unprecedented level descend upon Islington in the home of debauchery, Dead Dolls House. Based upon the ancient Roman feasts of the infamous god Bacchus, guests will be able to enjoy a welcome cocktail, four decadent courses of food paired with wine and a cocktail to round it all off.

Hosted on the first Thursday of each month, the menu has been created by the new Executive Chef, Joe Hill, formerly of Soho House and Gordon Ramsay Group. Hill has created a menu that encapsulates the lavishness of the ancient Roman banquets and dishes for the second feast will have a Filipino twist and will include Burnt aubergine, sesame salted caramel and pickled daikon paired with prosecco and Pork belly, oyster, spring onion & watercress paired with fontanelles pinot noir.

Gregory Barry, co-owner of Dead Dolls House and resident libation expert has created two boozy cocktails that pair perfectly with Hill’s food as well as providing the requisite kick including Garden Ginpom – gin, pomelo, lemon, rose and basil and also Oscar Sour – whisky,
caramel, lemon, egg white and caramel popcorn.

The feast will be served on two long banquet tables in the Ballroom. Tucked away at the very top of The House, with its pitched roof, giant disco ball chandelier and gold gilt Trompe L’Oeil, The Ballroom is the perfect place for the Bacchanalian revelry to while away your
Thursday evening.

The second feast will be on Thursday 6 April from 7pm – 10pm and every first Thursday of the month thereafter with a different menu each month. It is priced at £60 per person which includes, a welcome cocktail, 4 courses with 4 paired glasses of wine with a cocktail to round
it all off!
