Over the bank holiday weekend we escaped to Manchester Pride. The rumour is, it’s one of the best pride events in the UK and it certainly didn’t disappoint! For one weekend every year, the already vibrant city becomes a little bit more interesting as revellers from across the country pour in. Whether you’re at the event, or just wandering around the city, there’s a buzz about town that has everyone smiling. And that could have something to do with the Feel Good taxi that’s been driving around…
Feel Good drinks are on a mission this summer, to make the public feel good with their 100% natural infusions range. They’ve been spreading the word with their own black cab, which is more than just your average taxi. Fitted with a refrigerator full of refreshing drinks, the cab is also a photo booth so you can capture your feel good moment!
All fitted with a loudspeaker, the taxi drove around Manchester over the weekend giving out compliments, producing smiles from passersby. When it wasn’t driving around spreading the love, the taxi was parked in Sackville Garden’s so anyone could pop in and take a selfie or two.
The Feel Good stand offered the perfect place to watch performances on the boutique stage. The seating areas offered shade from the blazing sun that made a rare appearance in Manchester to shine it’s blessing on the weekend. Hand massages were on offer (which were amazing) and a great way of making everyone feel good. Make-up artists were also offering free glitter makeovers, meaning by the Sunday the seats were also covered in glitter…
The Feel Good team were handing out full size samples of the infusion drinks all weekend, keeping the revellers of pride well hydrated. It came in three flavours: lemon and elderflower, strawberry and mint, and apple and rose. With flavour combinations like these, it felt like I was drinking a cocktail, but one that was actually good for me!
