GORDON RAMSAY BRINGS YOU ‘THE ALLOTMENT’

BSKsummer 3

With Summer now in full swing, we plan on celebrating the British summer time properly, with restaurants like Gordon Ramsay’s Bread Street Kitchen offering a stunning setting to celebrate the warmer months. Launching this June, the Bread Street Kitchen in the heart of the city will create a living allotment inside the striking glass restaurant, complete with hanging plants and strawberries, herbs and vegetables.

The pop-up will also feature a greenhouse-inspired private dining area and a garden shed photo booth. In keeping with the theme and indeed taking it a step further, guests will be given the opportunity to experience and learn more about the beauty of homegrown ingredients and how space-restricted Londoners can make the most of what they have.

The specially created menu will use fresh ingredients and herbs from the allotment to include dishes such as botanical rubbed ham, chilled pea and mint soup, and blueberry, coriander seed and Bombay Sapphire cured salmon. Desserts include Earl Grey and cinnamon chocolate mousse with strawberries and almond shortbread. And of course, no summer menu would be complete without a complimenting cocktail selection.

Treat yourself to a Garden Spritz; watercress and garden pea infused Bombay Sapphire with lemon, St-Germain and tonic or a refreshing Mint Paloma; Patron Silver, grapefruit juice, lime, agave syrup, mint and grapefruit bitters.
