Juju’s Bar & Stage

unnamed

If you’ve not yet heard of Juju’s bar and stage, you’re in for a real treat. Juju’s is a creative and collaborative workspace, venue and bar nestled on Brick Lane, and this April and May it’s set to be home to a cross section of the best events you could wish for. With a palm tree clad outside bar, lofty warehouse ceilings, exhibition space and a cosy beer garden, Juju’s is the perfect host to progressive and established artists alike.

We’re especially excited about the April and May programme from 22nd April to 30th May: see April off in style by embracing Juju’s Cuban carnival on the 29th, complete with dance classes, live bands and DJs.

True to their form, Juju’s treats us to true variety by welcoming The Pint Of Science Festival from 15th – 18th May, here you can listen to world class scientists discuss their research over a pint. Probably the best way to discuss science, anyone can get involved in the discussion in a very non-serious atmosphere. Talks confirmed cover everything from human nature to the future of coding.

Perhaps one of the most exciting bookings at Juju’s next month is the Open Senses Festival on the 20th May – hosts We Are Now are purveyors of immersive and experiential music events, which draw the audience into the performance in every way possible. If that wasn’t enough on the 24th May London’s only regular Book Slam comes to Juju’s, this is a mix of a literary club and a club night, which has previously hosted the likes of Sam Smith, Adele and Nick Hornby.

With something for everyone, there’s bound to be something that draws you to Juju’s this summer, check out their schedule to make the most of the jam-packed schedule.
