Peyotito Tequila Masterclass Review

Tequila, tequila, tequila and then more tequila!

If you are looking for a good night out in July then head down to Peyotito Mexican restaurant in Notting hill and experience the amazing food and tequila. To celebrate national Tequila day on the 24th of July Peyotito has joined forces with the new “it” girl of tequilas – Casamigos tequila – to bring you tequila masterclasses. George Clooney formally owned this tequila so you know it’s got to be excellent quality.

For £45 per person, you get a masterclass and a set menu dinner. The masterclass is run by brand ambassador Jack Brooksbank. In his class he will introduce you to three types of Casamigos tequila and the correct way to drink them. Jack has a depth of knowledge about tequila (from drinking a lot one has to imagine), with this knowledge he will teach you how to not only recognise quality tequila, but how to enjoy it the real Mexican way, without hiding the flavours with lime and salt. Excellent tequilla doesn’t need those to make it taste great.

The chefs have created a three course menu to accompany the masterclass. The selection plate of gluten free soft shell tacos were a personal favourite of mine, especially the chicken and pineapple taco. It’s sophisticated and suave Mexican food.

Another must try of the evening is the upgraded margarita from the bar staff, served with your own miniature bottle of booze! (Casamigos of course). It’s a very booze filled night so be safe and don’t drive!t

Master classes will be held every Tuesday in July.
