Fanny Nelsons neighborhood bar, which serves local beers, fine wines, mixed drinks and simple foods with one of the best bar teams in east London, helmed by Marta Gronowska, former GM of Happiness Forgets is open Saturday and Sundays for all day brunch and will serve what they hope will be one of London’s finest Bloody Marys. Another feature to look forward to in this beautiful 1830’s London public house is the hidden bar in the basement, soon to be used for special tasting events and menu pairing. The basement can also be hired out for private use.
As part of the launch of the basement of the beautifully refurbished Fanny Nelsons Bar, an East End boozer with a modern makeover, will host ‘Cocktail Wednesdays’ from Tuesday 14th December 2016.
Far from a promotional happy hour, the event is an exhibition of playful cocktail drawings by Swedish illustrator and Hackney resident Sara Stode. With a new book in the works, due to be published next year, imbibers are offered the rare opportunity to view her art for themselves.
With the exhibition lasting 1 month, this will be an exclusive opportunity to view and/or maybe own one of the exclusive prints.
If that wasn’t all Colonel Fox Gin have teamed up with Fanny Nelsons to create some exciting gin cocktails for the event. They have also generously donated a bottle of their gin to give away to one of our lucky readers.
