They are among us, they look exactly like us, you might even work next to them but at night, when kitchen closes, they sneak in through the backdoor and fire up the stoves with some of the most exciting food London has tasted over the last few years.
Meet the “Flavour Expats” as Rob Cenciarelli — chef-founder of popular Backdoor Kitchen Italian supperclub — gathers London’s best loved popup chefs at pop up venue Palm 2 to kick off a series of spectacular East vs West culinary battles.
14 chefs, 8 nights, 2 teams per night and only 1 chance to feast on the food of 2 countries at the same table. The adventurous journey unfolds over 6 courses each night. Each pair of chefs will cook a starter, a main and a dessert shaped by their gastronomic traditions and inspired to the most distinctive flavours of their own countries.
Popup chefs include Two Hungry Girls, Darjeeling Express, Yummy Choo Eats, The Pickled Fork and Gastronhome. More to come!
