The Jam Tree Review

for oninlondon-2
Who doesn’t love a Sunday Roast especially when Winter is howling at us from around the corner. The Jam Tree offers roasts on Sundays from 12pm, in the comfort of a stylish and relaxing pub in Chelsea. The décor is a mix of Victorian era interior and architecture with a mix of 21st century art, there are comfy sofas available and a beer garden to choose from.
Their menu offers two roast options to choose from, the 28 day aged Beef Sirloin and the Half Corn Fed Chicken. We opted for the Chicken Roast, roasted with tarragon and garlic. It came with roast potatoes, swede and carrot mash, yorkshire pudding, parsnips and Cauliflower cheese on the side. The chicken was marinated nicely and tasted succulent, the potatoes were a little crunchy, but if you’re a fan of the crunch then your enjoy these. The portions are very generous, so make sure you leave room for desert, they have some scrumptious delights to pick from.
for oninlondon-3We choose the double Chocolate Banana Brownie, mouth-watering and tasty and the Chocolate Fudge Sundae, definitely a winner if you’re an ice cream lover, it had a great mix of cinnamon, chocolate and strawberry flavoured ice cream. There is also a nice selection of teas available if you wish to help the desert go down smoothly, which of course we went for (after all you can always make room for a cup of tea!)
