The Swan, Southwold has undergone a vibrant makeover and will be relaunching this autumn. It is certainly on our list of places to escape to. The Swan is marketed at as a one-of-a-kind coastal hotel and the gateway to the best of Adnams, Southwold and the local area.

Historically the The Swan Hotel started brewing in 1345 and has been through various name changes and alterations until it was bought by Adnams in 1872. Who is Adnams? Well they’re a values-based family business that has been brewing in Southwold on the Suffolk coast since 1872. They Collabrated with collaborated with award-winning design studio Project Orange.

Taking inspiration from the coastal Suffolk location and the vibrancy and heritage of Adnams, The Swan now had a colourful and fresh makeover which showcases the uniqueness of the hotel. Expect a relaxed and cosy atmosphere, which is combined with intimate service, top-class food and drink and the best local lifestyle experiences. The Adnams brewery and distillery, is only a short walk from the hotel, so the perfect excuse to walk down for a craft beer or some well deserved cocktails.
