London’s First Slow Movement Event Launches in Canary Wharf

As we all turn our attention to the new year, we are pleased to let you wellness lovers know about Soft Landings, a wellness event taking place on 1st February, designed to bring joy, nourishment and stillness to the people of London.

From the team behind the dance movement Morning Gloryville – Tamuka Productions – Soft Landings will bring together conscious influencers, city workers and visitors alike in a wifi-free zone to enjoy a full day of multi-sensory, wellness experiences.

From a sunrise experience complete with a live orchestra, lunchtime rhythms from Felix Buxton of Basement Jaxx, and an after-work concert with surprise guest appearances, there’s something to suit everyone.

There will be 3 shows throughout the day:

Morning Symphony 6am – 9am
Live Orchestra with Yoga + QiGong by Sweat and Sound
40 Piece Sound Healing Ensemble with Meditation by Cherabella
+ Giselle La Pompe-Moore

Lunchtime Rhythms plus Free Meal 12pm – 2pm
Drop in at lunch to reboot with Felix Buxton (Basement Jaxx) + Adah Parris

Sunset Wind-Down 5pm – 9pm
Delicious Live Folk, Soul and Jazz bands

During the day, the space will include meditation, movement, massage, organic vegan street food & drink stalls, art installations & performances, an on-site apothecary and sensory play by BitterSuite.

The one day event will take place on Friday 1st February, as part of Strong Island, the new fitness and wellness festival at Canary Wharf.
