Shakespeare in the square in back for a fourth year
Shakespeare in the Square is happening on 3rd July in Hyde Park Estate’s Connaught Square, this time with a production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, set in 1920s Britain for a fiery and exciting show. Before the play, directed by Tatty Hennessy, make a party of it by picnicking in the park starting at 5.30 pm, or try one of the reputed nearby restaurants, including Indian fine dining spot Bombay Palace, neighbourhood bistro Salt & Honey or traditional Argentinian eatery Casa Malevo.
Don’t miss this much-anticipated performance, which comes after last year’s As You Like It, also directed by Hennessy, which was a resounding success.
Tickets are available for £25 via this website: www.shakespeareinthesquares.co.uk (child tickets available for £12.50).
