Show your love with wines from VIN2O!
Wine makes a wonderful gift for your sweetheart and Vin2o has handpicked wines to enjoy together this Valentine’s Day.
Love is in the air on Valentine’s Day so why not treat your loved one to a special selection of wines while raising funds for water charity, Pump Aid.
VIN2O offers an outstanding New Zealand rosé and a deliciously fruity South African red, both guaranteed to set hearts racing on 14th February.
The Yealands Estate Pinot Noir Rosé, 2014, features aromas of red berries and cream with a crisp balancing acidity. It tastes great on its own, as an aperitif, or with salmon and white meat dishes. It comes from the Marlborough region of New Zealand and last year, Yealands was crowned the country’s Wine Producer of the Year at the International Wine and Spirits Competition. Price: £12.95 per bottle plus postage.
VIN2O’s Martin Meinert La Barry Red, 2011, is a light, fresh red wine made from a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Pinotage. Well-respected wine producer Martin, created this wine for his wife (Leigh-Ann), who wouldn’t drink red wine. He selected grapes from his Meinert Devon Crest Estate near Stellenbosch and blended the varieties to result in a fruity, easy drinking red that can be enjoyed without food, or with antipasti and charcuterie platters. Price: £11.75 per bottle plus postage.
VIN2O’s mission is to sell good wine and use the profits to raise money for Pump Aid – a charity working to supply clean water to rural communities in Africa. For every purchase made on the website, VIN2O donates a percentage of profits to Pump Aid. It provides clean water to communities in Sub-Saharan Africa and since 1998 it has installed more than 8500 pumps providing clean water to over 1.25 million people. Today the charity works mostly in Malawi where it is estimated that 2.4 million people do not have access to clean water.
All VIN2O wines are handpicked with care from smaller producers and cooperatives, always with an eye on sustainable and ethical standards.
Order by 10th February to guarantee delivery in time for Valentine’s Day.
