Berber & Q Ignites its 10th Anniversary with Star-Studded Chef Collaborations – X Chef Series

2025 marks a decade of flavour-packed feasting for Berber & Q, the trailblazing Haggerston restaurant renowned for its bold fusion of North African and Eastern Mediterranean flavours with the thrill of live-fire cooking inspired by American BBQ. To celebrate this milestone in style, Chef and Founder Josh Katz is curating an unmissable series of collaborative Sunday feasts – bringing together an all-star lineup of culinary talent to reimagine the classic Sunday Lunch like never before.

Running one Sunday every month, each feast will see Josh team up with top chefs who share his passion for live-fire cooking, creating unique menus that blend their distinctive styles with Berber & Q’s signature flavours.

Expect show-stopping collaborations with the likes of:

  • 25th May – Fermentation expert Ramael Scully from Scully Restaurant
  • 8th June – Chef Harneet Baweja from Gunpowder
  • 31st August – Bubala’s Middle Eastern maestro Marc Summers, who also worked at Berber & Q
  • 28th September – Celebrated live-fire chef Ben Quinn of Woodfired Canteen
  • 26th October – Fire-cooking trailblazer Ana Ortiz, Co-Founder of Somerset’s Fire Made
  • 30th November – Chef, cookbook author, recipe writer and co-founder Scramble LDN Sophie Godwin

Diners can indulge in a three-course sharing feast (priced from £45 per person), featuring a vibrant selection of mezze to start, a chef’s reimagining of the Sunday Roast and a decadent dessert platter to round things off. Expect smoky flavours, inventive twists, and the kind of laid-back, communal dining experience that has made Berber & Q an East London institution.

Set in a former taxi repair shop under the Haggerston railway arches, Berber & Q has been setting tastebuds alight since 2015 – a place where smoke, spice, and soul collide in a vibrant, upbeat atmosphere. This anniversary series promises to be the hottest ticket in town – quite literally.

Bookings are now open (link here) with more chefs to be confirmed– don’t miss your chance to be part of this fiery celebration of flavour, friendship, and ten years of live-fire mastery.

The 10th Anniversary menu will be served one Sunday each month from 1.30pm to 5.30pm (last booking at 5.30pm)
