    Pamela Tan-Nicholson’s new production, TriOperas has now opened at the Peacock Theatre. TriOperas focuses on bringing the best-known female characters from the operas Turandot, Madam Butterfly and Carmen into the modern world. Each opera is condensed to roughly 35 minutes in a fast paced whirlwind of movement, colour, costume changes and rapidly moving sets. Those familiar with the stories of Turandot, Madam Butterfly and Carmen know that each opera ends in tragedy.
