All My God’s Bar Review
If you are in East London and looking for a fun, unpretentious dive bar with an homage to rock ‘n roll (complete with a fitting tribute to recently deceased rock icon Ozzy Osbourne), look no further than All My God’s on Paradise Row in Bethnal Green.
The front patio lends itself well to afterwork drinks on a summer evening and the dimly-lit interior complete with a pool table, drink vending machines and industrial decor is perfect for year-round bar-hopping. The team (who are also the brains behind popular, established bar Dram in Soho) are friendly and welcoming, and it is amazing how they were all involved in the conception, planning and even the building of All My God’s from the ground up.

The menu boasts cocktail taps, signature cocktails and some of the classics with a creative twist, as well as a selection of beers, wines and soft drinks. The drinks are excellent – I tried the Fish House Punch and the Watermelon Margarita. Speaking to the mixologist about the punch, he said that he looked for the best peach ice tea which is in fact Lipton’s – so simple, yet its sweetness is perfectly spliced with the stronger flavours of the rum and cognac. The margarita is exactly what you need on a warm summer evening – not too sweet or salty, with enough strength to make for a refreshing beverage.

If it’s beer you’re after, the Guinness is presented with a lovely, creamy head due to the short pour. It’s evident that the bartenders have put a lot of care and consideration into how this drink which ‘is all about the pour’ is served.

I look forward to visiting again the next time I’m in East London!
