Blixen World Gin Day Cocktails With Citadelle Gin

World Gin Day is this Saturday 9th of June and Citadelle Gin, the world’s most awarded gin from Cognac in France, have teamed up with lush, leafy brasserie and bar, Blixen in Spitalfields, for a series of stylish G&T and oyster masterclasses, a £6 G&T and oyster serve for WGD pass holders and a bespoke Citadelle cocktail menu available to all.

Drink Up London will also be hosting a 4 day World Gin Day event from Thursday 7th to Sunday 10th of June, meaning there are numerous opportunities for people to enjoy their £6 gin cocktails and masterclasses all around town.

A Citadelle & Oyster Affair – Masterclasses
Thursday 7th of June – 6pm to 7pm
Saturday 9th of June – 6pm to 7pm

Hosted by Paul McFadyen, European ambassador for Citadelle gin, each guest will enjoy a taste of 3 Citadelle gins – the Original, Réserve and Old Tom ‘No Mistake’, followed by a generous G&T and oyster. £10 per class

A delicious combination of Citadelle with bittersweet tonic which works perfectly with oysters as it compliments their salty creaminess, being drawn out by the citrus notes of the gin. A true taste of summer in the north-west of France where the famous ‘fin de claire’ oysters come from.
