Brasserie of Light Launches It’s First Ever Afternoon Tea

This September, Brasserie of Light adds a new chapter to its story of style and sophistication with the
launch of its first-ever Pegasus Afternoon Tea (£49pp), a refined new offering served in the restaurant’s
iconic Art Deco surroundings.

From 4th September, guests can enjoy the Pegasus Afternoon Tea, a beautifully presented experience
that pays tribute to the timeless elegance of British tea culture while showcasing Brasserie of Light’s
signature theatrical flair. Served daily from 3pm, the offering is a celebration of exquisite flavours,
impeccable presentation, and indulgent detail.

Delicately arranged on a silver tray adorned with the restaurant’s iconic Pegasus, the tea begins with
a selection of savoury bites including Smoked Salmon & Cream Cheese on rye bread, a Free-Range
Egg & Cress Croissant, and a luxurious Truffle Chicken Brioche with freshly grated truffle. Guests are
then treated to warm fruited Scones, served with clotted cream, fresh strawberries, and strawberry
preserve; a nod to the comforting classics of the British teatime tradition.

No afternoon tea is complete without a selection of intricate patisserie, offering a medley of textures
and flavours: a mini Strawberry, Vanilla and White Chocolate Cheesecake, a tropical Coconut and Rum
Panna Cotta with Mango and Pineapple, indulgent Chocolate Bubbles with Brownie, a Raspberry
Almond Macaron, and a rich Raspberry & Pistachio Cupcake.

The experience also includes a curated selection of fine teas, from classic Breakfast Blend and Earl
Grey to fragrant Jasmine Pearls, Fresh Mint and herbal infusions, as well as barista-crafted coffees and
decadent hot chocolate. For those seeking extra sparkle, guests may elevate their afternoon with a
glass of G.H. Mumm Champagne for an additional £19.
