Celebrate Valentines Day With Taj 51 Buckingham Gate Suites and Residences

recently announced its brand new limited edition Afternoon Tea and there’s only one weekend left to enjoy it!

Onin.London visited on 10th February, just before Valentine’s Day and we couldn’t have been more impressed.

I went with a friend who swears Taj 51 Buckingham Gate Suites and Residences is her favourite Afternoon Tea in London, and to be fair it’s in my top 3 for sure. She had been to one of their Christmas Afternoon Teas while I have previously reviewed the Queen of Hearts tea (no longer running) and The Royal Afternoon Tea.

The creativity when developing an afternoon tea at Taj 51 Buckingham Gate Suites and Residence is remarkable. Every detail from the silverware, plates, napkins, decorations and candles are all on theme. It’s classy and pretty… and makes for great instagram photos.

Food wise… We loved the sandwiches, especially the salmon which was shaped into a rose!  And the rose scones, red velvet cake and raspberry macaroons were divine. There were also delicate rose profiteroles which unfortunately weren’t our favourites but this was a minor thing as everything else was top notch!

This unforgettable afternoon tea will be served in Taj 51 Buckingham Gate Suites and Residence’s restaurant Kona, until 19th of February and is £75 per person.
