From Dickensian feasting to queer rom‑com chaos, nostalgic TV specials to traditional music‑hall variety, London’s festive theatre scene is bursting with personality this season. We’re excited to be reviewing all of the following shows. We’ve even found the perfect bar to 

The Fit Prince (who gets switched on in the square in the frosty castle the night before (insert public holiday here)) 
From the creators of Gwyneth Goes Skiing and Diana, Awkward Productions’ 5-star outrageously queer rom-com parody transfers from its sell-out Edinburgh run to London for Christmas. Expect outrageous comedy, frosty castles, and festive chaos.

The Christmas Thing 
Cult comedy duo Mr Thing return with their gloriously unhinged festive variety show – a live TV show reminiscent of the 90s specials ‘broadcasting’ live from London, gone rogue complete with music, games, and mayhem.

The Magic of Christmas 
A beloved East London tradition; Brick Lane Music Hall’s annual festive variety show mixes comedy, cabaret, and carols, served alongside Christmas dinner, a festive lunch or afternoon tea. Hosted by Vincent Hayes MBE.

The Great Christmas Feast 
Step into Dickens’ parlour on Christmas Eve 1843 for a Victorian feast of dining, storytelling, and live music inspired by A Christmas Carol

The Lucky Pig
