Celebrate Burns Night 2026 with Galvin Restaurants 

A spirited evening of Scottish tradition, exceptional dining and live bagpipes across all Galvin venues 

Galvin Restaurants announces its group-wide Burns Night celebrations taking place on 25 January 2026 across Galvin La Chapelle, Galvin Bistrot & Bar, and 26 January at Galvin Green Man. Each venue will honour the life and work of Robert Burns with a specially curated menu, a live bagpiper and a Burns poet performing traditional readings, creating an atmospheric evening rooted in Scottish culture and culinary heritage. 

Burns Night at Galvin La Chapelle 

At Galvin La Chapelle, guests will be treated to an elevated Burns Night menu that blends refined technique with classic Scottish flavours. Dishes include Isle of Harris gin-cured salmon with Oscietra caviar and oat bread, followed by “Wild Skin” Scottish langoustine. The main course features rump of lamb served with haggis, celeriac and whisky caramel, followed by Bonnington Linn with cranberry, a traditional Tipsy Laird dessert, and coffee with petit fours. This menu showcases the restaurant’s signature approach to seasonal cooking and elegant presentation.

Celebrate at Galvin Bistrot & Bar 

Galvin Bistrot & Bar will offer a comforting and traditional Scottish tasting menu designed to evoke the warmth and conviviality of Burns Night. The menu begins with beetroot-marinated Scottish salmon with herb crème fraîche and rye bread, followed by “Cullen Skink”, a classic soup of leek and smoked haddock. Guests will then enjoy haggis with neeps and tatties, followed by Isle of Mull cheddar with oatcakes and quince jelly. A raspberry cranachan is to follow and, to round the meal, Scottish fudge will be served with coffee. This menu reflects the bistro’s relaxed, neighbourhood atmosphere while staying true to Burns Night’s culinary traditions.

Travel to Galvin Green Man for a Countryside Celebration 

Galvin Green Man in Chelmsford will celebrate Burns Night on 26 January 2026 with a traditional four-course supper showcasing classic Scottish flavours, beginning with a whisky-cured Loch Duart salmon canapé, followed by a rich “Cullen Skink” of smoked haddock and leek, a hearty main of haggis, neaps and tatties with tenderstem broccoli and herb jus, and finishing with a raspberry cranachan with butterscotch sauce.

Across all venues, the experience will be enriched by the presence of a live bagpiper marking the ceremonial elements of the evening and a Burns poet delivering the famous Address to a Haggis. Guests can expect authentic tradition blended with the warm hospitality and thoughtful cooking that define the Galvin group.
