Onin.London revisited Elvis Evolution to see if the production really has returned Bigger, Bolder and More Musical!
We recently revisited the show (after seeing it in its earlier form in 2025) to experience its latest updates and spoiler alert… it’s even better than before.
Now we know the show had a lot of controversy the first time and we couldn’t understand why. We honestly enjoyed it as it was a hip-swinging celebration of Elvis Presley. There has definitely been some improvements however with more live music woven throughout the experience, refreshed dialogue and reworked scenes that improve pacing and storytelling. The result is a richer, more immersive tribute to the King’s life, music and legacy with even more heart-thumping moments from start to finish. The major change we enjoyed was the introduction of more music by Elvis because let’s be honest… it’s what we’re all here to listen too!

Created by the team behind some of London’s most impressive immersive productions, Elvis Evolution transports audiences through the highs, lows and defining moments of Elvis’s journey from his early recording days through to his legendary Vegas performances. This time the show is told more through Elvis’ eyes rather than his friends.
As I said above the updated version feels more put together than ever. Additional musical segments help bridge scenes seamlessly and feels like there is less time just waiting for something to happen. Certain moments also now carry more emotional weight, particularly backstage scenes that explore the pressures behind the fame. Even if you’ve visited before, the changes make it feel fresh and worth a second visit.
So book your tickets to experience two immersive hours where guests move through layered environments combining live actors, a phenomenal band, cinematic projections, scent effects, haptics and temperature shifts. It’s theatrical storytelling on a sensory level… you don’t just watch the story, you feel it.

You’ll still get to visit iconic recreations including Bob’s Burbank Diner and the ’68 Comeback Special dressing room, now scenes has been re-staged to improve flow and audience engagement. Transitions are smoother, interactions feel more natural, and the added music creates stronger emotional build-ups before key moments. A must needed change to the show to be honest.
Performances of classics like Hound Dog, Jailhouse Rock and Can’t Help Falling in Love remain highlights, but there are now more musical reprises and underscoring throughout something fans will absolutely appreciate.
Before the show begins, Bob’s Burbank Diner offers retro American comfort food… hot dogs, nachos, peanut butter and banana milkshakes (highly recommended), and classic diner treats. During the interval, guests can enjoy themed drinks at the Blue Hawaii bar, with mocktail options available… a thoughtful touch for those not drinking.
The experience concludes with the All Shook Up after-party lounge, included with all tickets, featuring DJs, dancing and live entertainment that keeps the energy going long after the final scene. One party goer did state they wish there was an Elvis impersonator on the All Shook Up Lounge as they thought this would have added to the experience.
Ticket prices are still expensive but for Elvis fans, it’s totally worth it.
Located at ExCeL London and easily accessible via Custom House (Elizabeth Line & DLR), the venue hosts performances Wednesday to Sunday.
Whether you’re a lifelong Elvis fan or discovering his story for the first time, this updated version of Elvis Evolution delivers a high-energy, emotionally engaging journey through music history. The additional songs, refined dialogue and reworked scenes elevate what was already an impressive show into something even more memorable.
