If you’re a lover of Italian food and you’ve never heard of Pasta Remoli, I urge you to go and have a dining experience at their Finsbury park location. I only recently visited Pasta Remoli to try out their new menu and I must say I was more than surprised. The pasta, sauces and ingredients are fresh (the ingredients are from some the finest producers in Italy) the food is also bursting with incredible flavour it leaves you wanting more! The concept is simple – choose your pasta, choose a sauce, add cheese and within 3 minutes a bowl of delicious pasta will be served to you. They also have vegan options as well.
It’s a firm favourite with the locals in Finsbury Park, they also have a branch in Westfield Stratford, but if you dine at the Finsbury Park location, you’ll see the chef and co-founder Chef Simone Remoli at work. I spoke to chef Simone and not only did he entertain us with the concept of his new menu but you can see how passionate he is about making healthy authentic Italian food for us Londoners to enjoy.
The exclusive new specials menu for the Finsbury Park restaurant, is based around Simone’s fascinating life story. Each course represents how Simone fell in love with cooking; from his adventurous travels around Sardinia and Tuscany right through to his exciting move to London.
Some of the dishes on offer include, a crisp and succulent ‘Quail and Guincale Crostino’, authentic ‘Lamb Tortelloni’ using home-made pasta, and a deliciously tangy and rich ‘Caciucco Fish Stew’ to share.
If that wasn’t enough, the ‘Bonet Chocolate Dream’ cake will having you dancing with joy, it’s the only way to finish off a beautiful Italian meal in my opinion.
