PROSECCO BRUNCH AT THE POTTING SHED

The very elegant and sophisticated Potting Shed, located in The Dorset Square hotel are offering a mouth-watering Prosecco brunch. Yep you heard right! and last weekend I toasted the fact that two of my favourite things have now joined forces, at the Prosecco brunch.

We got a warm welcome when we arrived and once we sat down, we were brought over a glass of prosecco whist we looked over the menu. The restaurant is light and airy, with grey oak flooring and sage green walls.

The menu consists of some of the classics like eggs royale along with a modern update with Avocado on granary bread. There is also a buffet in the morning, the prosecco brunch offer includes a brunch option from the menu and also whatever you like from the buffet, and I must mention its a very up market buffet with fresh and delicious dishes.

I choose the Avocado and scrambled eggs on grilled granary toast, the eggs were nice and fluffy and the avocado was nice fresh. Although I would say the winning dish was the smoked salmon and free range scrambled eggs, the salmon added flavour to the eggs, which went down nicely with our prosecco.

The portions are not very big, but with the option of the buffet to hand, you wouldn’t want too big of a serving on your plate, otherwise you would be too full for whats on offer on the buffet. We  tucked into some cornbread and some strawberries and melon. The other dishes on offer, were muesli, yogurt and chocolate brownies to please the sweet tooth lovers!

It costs £40 per person including two courses and unlimited Prosecco.
Available every Sunday from 11am–3pm until 27 August. 
From 2nd September, Prosecco Brunch will be available every Saturday.
