Review: Kaleidoscope Cinema – “The Talented Mr. Ripley”

imageThe Blue Tit Salon (@Bluetitsalon) was a 10 minute bus drive away from my home located in the heart of Hackney, an area which is slowly becoming a more urbanised and trendy heart of London.

Upon arrival I first set foot into the vintage styled hair salon with the coolest furniture I just had to take photos with!

I was escorted downstairs and can easily say the people that came to view this pop up cinema were a perfect representation of hackney itself; different age groups, backgrounds, style, and personalities. A friendly crowd indeed.

I never knew what love was until I tasted the most delicious popcornimage I have ever tasted! Propercorn (@propercorn) vanilla and coconut flavour stole my heart, three times that night. Complimentary packets of several flavours were handed out as well as slices of pizza and lovely fizzy bottles of prosecco.

Soon the movie began, starring Matt Damon, and I literally felt as I was in a comfortable cinema but the only difference was I got to say hey to a few of these people before the movie began.

What a perfect way to break into my summer holiday; an enjoyable cinematic experience and the loveliest of treats – moments away from my doorstep in such gorgeous weather over the weekend!

A great event. I hope more of these are done!
