Swingers West End and Hackney Gelato Have Created Brand New Ice Cream Milkshakes

Thursday the 16th, OnIn.London ventured down to favourite hot spot Swingers West End. We were there because Hackney Gelato have created brand new Ice Cream Milkshakes!

On the menu are a selection of delicious creamy delights including: Caramel Pop (£6), a salted caramel shake topped with double butter toffee popcorn; Choco o’ Oreo (£6), a chocolate and vanilla shake blended with Oreo cookies and topped with whipped cream and MORE! All milkshakes will also be available as hardshakes – guests can simply add a shot of whisky or rum for an extra £2 to the mix for that extra little kick.

My guest and I were lucky enough to try both these sweet shakes with a shot of rum in each. For chocaholics, the Choco o’ Oreo is the way forward and the Caramel Pop will have caramel lovers smiling. Both shakes had the right amount of crunch and were perfect for a hot summer’s day.

For those who prefer their ice cream straight up, Hackney Gelato’s ice cream bar features mouth watering flavours such as Snickers, Bellini Sorbet, Chocolate Sorbet, Salted Caramel and Bourbon Vanilla. The prices are pretty decent as they cost just £3 for one scoop, £4.50 for two and for those a little hungrier, £5.50 for three mega delicious scoops. All served in a cup or cone with a wafer and chocolate stick.

Hackney Gelato’s ice cold treats at Swingers West End are available from midday, every day. We had a fantastic night playing crazy golf, drinking cocktails and eating delicious street food. Along with finishing the evening off sampling the new milk shake selections. We’d recommend getting family, friends or colleagues together to play a few rounds like we did.
