The Setouchi International Art Triennale Festival

Taking place every three years, Naoshima, Teshima and 10 other “art islands” including Megijima, Inujima and Shodoshima host a collection of installations and artists for the Setouchi International Art Triennale.

Known for their location specific installations, such as Yayoi Kusama’s yellow pumpkin, this is the perfect art meets travel trip.

The next edition of the festival is fast upcoming, beginning 14th April 2022. The Setouchi Triennale will run from April 14 to May 18, August 5 to September 4 and September 29 to November 6, 2022.
