We’re Hooked: LEON Launches ‘LEON Chippy’ For One Weekend Only

To celebrate the return of one of its most-loved dishes, the Fish Finger Wrap, LEON will transform its Regent Street restaurant into a nostalgic British chippy for one weekend only, on 14th and 15th March 2026.

The LEON Chippy is a playful, feel-good takeover that reimagines the classic “chippy” through the lens of Naturally Fast Food. Expect seaside-inspired details, nostalgic touches and unmistakable LEON twists – all created to mark the comeback of a true fan favourite.

At the heart of the celebration is the Fish Finger Wrap, swimming back onto menus soon. Refreshed, refined and long requested by customers, it is the first dish to return as part of LEON’s new Icon Dishes series – a programme dedicated to bringing back classics with more flavour, better sourcing and a chef’s touch.

The Chippy will be serving the Fish Finger Wrap alongside waffle fries, crushed peas, plus a beer or cup of tea. To sweeten the deal, the first 100 Fish Finger Wraps will be free each day. Every guest will also receive a pin badge and scratchcard, with prizes ranging from free dishes to a year’s worth of LEON.

The Fish Finger Wrap features a sustainably sourced pollock fish finger, peppery rocket and LEON’s greatest ever tartare sauce made with gherkins, capers and fresh herbs. It’s baked, not fried, and provides a natural source of protein and omega-3 fatty acids.

Following the return of founder John Vincent, LEON is reconnecting with the dishes that made it famous, while shaping the future of Naturally Fast Food. Founder John Vincent commented, “This is the one dish I had in mind when we created LEON in 2004 and the first dish I wanted to bring back and our guests wanted us to bring back. I will be first in line.”

The LEON Chippy will be open from 12pm to 8pm on 14th and 15th March 2026 at LEON Regent Street, 275 Regent St, London W1B 2HB.
