The Distillery

Little Bird Gin has taken up residency at The Distillery in Southwark. This hidden garden in an industrial area has been decorated by All for Love, an independent florist and recent runners up at the renowned Chelsea in Bloom, People’s Champion Award. It was a gorgeous hour spent in London’s summer sun while sipping on a Paloma and a Moscow Mule. These cocktails were definitely refreshing and the perfect pallet cleanser after the delicious but huge brunch we’d had earlier. Unfortunately we didn’t get to try the Little Bird Gin cocktails as they weren’t on the menu we were given when we arrived at the bar. This just means I’ll have to head back on another day and really that isn’t an inconvenience.

This venue was perfect for people watching and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves whilst my friend and I was there. I was especially jealous of the sharing size mojito that was on offer! I don’t think I’d be sharing it though when I order it. Make sure you head down while it’s still summer to enjoy The Distillery’s cocktails and Little Bird Gin marketed as the perfect G&T, Negroni and the special A Little Bird Told Me. You’ll be glad you did.
