Street photographer, Emmanuel Cole, known for his signature style depicting gritty inner city life, is showcasing his specially curated imagery of SE1, in partnership with London BID, WeAreWaterloo.

Capturing the ever-changing landscape of SE1, the project is a true testament to Emmanuel’s interpretation of an area in transition. Waterloo’s definitive characteristics can be experienced throughout, from a diverse array of Lower Marsh Market traders through to the hidden, undisturbed backstreets.

Emmanuel has quickly risen to become one of the cities most revered street photographers, earning him over 133k Instagram followers and a constantly expanding portfolio of photographs that document the city’s ongoing narrative through a period of cultural and architectural change. Once a South London resident himself, his unique vision of the city and Waterloo’s longstanding history of all things anti-establishment make for an interesting and unique experience.
