Red Roses show Girl Power with Spice Girls collaboration
Two sets of female powerhouses, the Red Roses and the Spice Girls, are to unite in a defining year for women’s rugby.
The collaboration sees the world’s most successful girl band link up with the world’s number one rugby team as they compete for a home World Cup and what is widely seen as a generational moment for the sport.
Rugby for women and girls has experienced massive growth in recent years and the backing of the Spice Girls is set to introduce rugby and the Red Roses to an entirely new audience and support the team in their bid to inspire the nation through their world-class performances.
The collaboration sees a range of licensed products by England Rugby partners and licensees Castore, Fanatics, and Gilbert launching over the coming weeks, with the initial products released today. These include:
- Three-piece premium Castore range, including a Fan Jersey, Track Jacket and Collegiate Bomber Jacket
- Exclusive apparel drops from Fanatics will include a wide variety of adult and kids’ products, such as t-shirts, hoodies, and accessories, offering something for every fan
- Limited edition Red Roses and Spice Girls rugby ball produced by Gilbert, the Official Training Equipment Supplier to England Rugby
Zoe Aldcroft, Red Roses captain said: “This is a really important year for us as a team and it’s fantastic to partner with a band which shares so many of the same values as we do and understands the dedication, hard work and perseverance it takes to reach the top and stay there.

“We also know how critical it is that the tournament inspires lots of people, girls and boys, to get into rugby and benefit from the sport in the way that we as a team all do – friendship, strength, confidence, power, self-expression and so much more. The Spice Girls, with their huge following, will really help our sport reach new places, new fans of all ages and further boost the growth we’ve seen in recent years.”
The Spice Girls added: ” We are excited to partner with the Red Roses in supporting women’s sport, particularly as this year for the first time in history there will be a female president of the RFU – that’s incredible Girl Power! We hope the whole country will join us in cheering on the team, as they build on their great start.”
The range, launching from 4th September 2025, will be available from Spice Girls online store www.store.thespicegirls.com, England Rugby Store online www.englandrugbystore.com and at the Allianz Stadium Store.
