From packing cubes to camera gear, Hristina Nabosnyi shares how Temu helps her stay organised and on budget while exploring the world
From bustling cities to beach sunsets, life as a travel blogger is non-stop adventure for Hristina Nabosnyi. And to keep up with her fast-paced travels, she relies on smart, affordable gear.
The 34-year-old and her husband Paul have explored more than 40 countries and love documenting their experiences or discovering local favourites for their followers.
For Hristina, who also works full time in recruitment, organisation is key. When the couple hit a new place during their travels, they usually leave their hotel by 7:30am and sometimes don’t return until 10pm.

“I needed new packing cubes so I thought ‘Let’s try Temu’ and they were very good quality so we starting to think more about what we need for our travels as well,” Hristina said. “We need our power banks, we need different USB cables, chargers. When you travel in Europe, you need a travel adapter. There’re so many little things, where do you put them? So we bought a portable travel case from Temu with multiple pockets that you can actually keep those little things there. It’s perfect.”
Originally from Bulgaria, Hristina says it was a dream come true when she and Paul moved to London: with five airports it was the perfect base for their spontaneous trips away. Hristina started to share insider tips, personal insights and destination guides through her website CheckinAway.
The pair have worked with tourism boards in Toronto, Ottawa and Quebec City, as well as European destinations like Ghent, Belgium, and Heidelberg and Nuremberg in Germany to inspire others to travel.

During one trip, a leg on Hristina’s tripod broke leaving her unable to use her camera to capture shots like timelapses. She searched online for a replacement but kept finding products that were out of her budget until she came across the right part on Temu for just over £1 – and it’s still an essential piece of her travel equipment today.
What started as a passion project has now grown to an award-winning travel website with more than 12,000 monthly readers. But for Hristina, there’s one thing that’s stayed the same from the start: “Being a tourist always comes first because first and foremost, I go travelling to enjoy it.”
