The Salt Room Serves Up Brighton Pride’s Best Seat in the House

Brighton Pride transforms the city into one of the UK’s biggest celebrations each summer, but for those looking to enjoy the weekend without sacrificing exceptional food, The Salt Room is offering a different way to experience it.

On Saturday 1st August, Brighton’s award-winning independent seafood restaurant will host an exclusive Pride Brunch, pairing a seasonal seafood sharing menu with Ultimate Provence Rosé, live DJ sets and one of the city’s most enviable parade-viewing locations.

Fresh from its recent refurbishment, The Salt Room’s weather-glazed seafront terrace sits directly above King’s Road, giving guests a front-row view as the Brighton Pride Parade passes below. Rather than queuing along the parade route, guests can enjoy the celebrations from the terrace before stepping straight into the heart of Pride.

Designed around sharing, the brunch showcases the best of the Sussex coast, beginning with freshly shucked Irish Rock oysters and a glass of Ultimate Provence Rosé, followed by dishes including Cornish crab crumpets with poached eggs and saffron hollandaise, sea bass ceviche with yuzu vinaigrette, Nutbourne tomatoes with whipped feta and stacks of pancakes with Chantilly cream and seasonal berries. At the centre of the experience is The Salt Room Seafood Tower, laden with oysters, tuna sashimi, sea bass crudo, clams, crab salad, anchovy gildas, tarama and oyster shooters, with the option to add Cornish Exmoor caviar for an extra indulgence.

Each course is paired with a bespoke Ultimate Provence drinks journey, culminating in The Salt Room’s signature Frosé, while local up-and-coming DJ Poppie Sharman takes over from 1pm, carrying guests effortlessly from a leisurely seaside brunch into Brighton Pride celebrations.

Taking place on Saturday 1st August from 10am, tickets are £90 per person, including the four-course brunch and drinks pairing. With limited availability and one of Brighton’s finest parade viewpoints, The Salt Room offers a relaxed, elevated way to celebrate Pride by the sea.
