JENKI Brings the Fruit Stall to London with New Summer Matcha Menu
Cult London matcha brand JENKI is welcoming warmer days with Fruit Shop, a new seasonal menu launching across all its bars this summer. Inspired by Borough Market, traditional fruit stalls and summer produce at its peak, the collection brings together bold colour, cooling textures and bright, produce-led flavours.
Available across every JENKI location, the range offers three distinct ways to enjoy matcha, whether customers prefer something creamy, hydrating or delicately floral on a hot day.
At the heart of the menu are juicy strawberries, tropical mango, fresh coconut and JENKI’s first-harvest ceremonial-grade Japanese matcha. Each drink is designed to evoke the pleasure of wandering through a bustling market on a sunny afternoon, combining layered fruit flavours with creamy cold foams and refreshing iced bases.
Two new creations arrive for 2026. The Iced Mango Matcha Latte with Coconut and Lime Cold Foam pairs mellow, earthy matcha with ripe mango, while a coconut and lime topping adds a smooth, zesty finish. The Iced Coconut Water with Matcha Cold Foam offers an even lighter option, balancing hydrating coconut water with a silky layer of matcha cold foam.
Also returning is a previous fan favourite, the Strawberry and Elderflower Iced Matcha Latte. Floral elderflower lifts the sweetness of strawberry, creating a colourful summer drink that complements matcha’s distinctive umami character.
Fruit Shop reflects JENKI’s approach to introducing matcha through combinations that feel playful and contemporary while respecting the ingredient’s traditions. Drinks are whisked to order, allowing the character of the matcha to remain central even when paired with seasonal fruit and creative toppings.
Founded by Claudia and Otto Boyer in 2020, JENKI began with market stalls and pop-ups before becoming a prominent name in London’s fast-growing matcha scene. The independent brand now operates six bars across the capital, with locations spanning Borough Market, Covent Garden, Spitalfields, Canary Wharf, Battersea Power Station and Selfridges.
Its expansion is set to continue. JENKI has announced plans to open five additional London bars before the end of 2026, extending its blend of traditional preparation and modern flavour to more neighbourhoods across the city.
With Fruit Shop, JENKI has created a menu that feels unmistakably seasonal: fresh, vibrant and made for sipping over ice. From mango and lime to strawberry and elderflower, the range turns the best flavours of the fruit stall into a distinctly London matcha experience.
