adidas Originals Announces THIS IS SUPERSTAR: A Three-Day Cultural Takeover at 180 Studios

In anticipation of its latest Superstar campaign, adidas Originals is bringing London an experience like no other. THIS IS SUPERSTAR will take over 180 Studios, Temple, for three days from Friday 29 to Sunday 31 August 2025, transforming the venue into a living, breathing tribute to the iconic sneaker’s enduring legacy.

More than just an exhibition, the takeover is designed as an immersive journey through the cultural scenes that made the Superstar a global symbol of style, rebellion, and creativity. Rooted in fashion, skate, and music, the event celebrates the pillars that have shaped the shoe’s influence for over five decades. Guests will step into curated community spaces, engage with interactive installations, and soak up the energy of the subcultures that propelled the Superstar from sportswear staple to worldwide icon.

A Fusion of Style, Music, and Community

Each day offers a blend of live performances, workshops, and creative takeovers. Guests can explore expressive styling stations, including tooth gems by Lil Gems, nail art by Imoan Glisten, trims from Sam Rascals, and sneaker customisation sessions led by London Sneaker School and 3rd Rail. These activations bring the Superstar’s ethos of individuality and self-expression to life.

The programme is amplified by adidas’ partners, including NTS, FD from the Future, LABRUM London, JD, ASOS, RWD, and London Sound Academy. Together, they deliver a line-up that bridges emerging talent with established voices across art, skate, and sound.

The Daily Line-Up

Friday 29 August kicks off with daytime workshops from FD from the Future & Friends alongside London Sound Academy, while NTS provides the soundtrack. The evening sees the opening party hosted by NTS, featuring a high-energy jam with the Route One x adidas Global skate team.

Saturday 30 August continues the momentum with RWD and London Sound Academy workshops, plus another skate team jam open to all. That night, JD and Rinse FM host the Superstar Cypher, culminating in a live performance from UK rap heavyweight Ghetts.

Sunday 31 August closes the takeover with creative workshops led by LABRUM London and more skate showcases. The finale is the Superstar Block Party, hosted by ASOS and soundtracked by the dynamic Confidence Man, ensuring the event ends on a celebratory high.

Open Access with a Superstar Spirit

The takeover is open to everyone, with daytime sessions welcoming all ages (under 16s must be accompanied by an adult). Evening events are ticketed and strictly 18+. Whether visitors join for hands-on creativity, cultural exchange, or to simply experience the energy of London’s creative underground, the event is an invitation to step in, stand out, and make your mark—just as the Superstar has for generations.

Sign-ups for workshops and ticketed events will go live in the coming days via @adidasuk and partner channels. With a blend of heritage, innovation, and unapologetic self-expression, THIS IS SUPERSTAR promises to be one of the cultural highlights of the summer.
