Rooftop film screenings, Breakfast with Santa and wreath-making: Celebrate the season at art’otel London Battersea Power Station and art’otel London Hoxton

This Christmas, art’otel London Battersea Power Station and art’otel London Hoxton are celebrating the season with a line-up of unmatched events and activities as part of their art’beat events series. 

From east to west London and true to art’otel’s spirit, creativity from both artists and guests are at the heart of the celebrations, with festivities ranging from rooftop film screenings to wreath-making workshops, and breakfast with Santa himself.

Festive Rooftop Film Screenings

Back for a second year running, art’otel London Battersea Power Station is showcasing a magical array of Christmas movies on the JOIA rooftop with the backdrop of the iconic power station chimneys. Every Wednesday-Sunday, guests can enjoy a festive meal at the award-winning JOIA restaurant, before cosying up with friends and nougat flavoured popcorn to watch holiday classics on the big screen, including The Holiday, Love Actually, White Christmas, Elf, It’s a Wonderful Life, The Santa Clause, Home Alone, and The Grinch Who Stole Christmas.

Hidden Cinema with cult classics and family favourites 

As days get darker and London gets colder, art’otel London Hoxton has launched the perfect indoor escape: the Film House, a hidden cinema with a curated programme of cult classics and family favourites. With popcorn, snacks and drinks from the Gallery Bar, it’s an easy, cosy way to spend a winter weekend. November programme highlights include family favourites such as Encanto, The Grinch, Coco, Tangled & Home Alone, and Cult Classics such as Dirty Dancing, The Godfather, La La Land and Love Actually while the December programme highlights include Elf, Singing in the Rain, Wonka and Home Alone 2.

Wreath making workshops

Across both hotels, guests can make their very own Christmas wreaths. At art’otel London Hoxton these will be led by MOS London and at art’otel London Battersea Power Station

Breakfast with Santa

Bring the whole family for an indulgent breakfast at Perola, where Santa will make a very special appearance. Santa will visit each and every table, greeting children with warmth and cheer and giving a special gift to each child. Capture the moment with a photo opportunity with Santa against the iconic Power Station chimneys, creating a cherished memory to look back on. As the morning draws to a close, gather around as Santa reads a heart-warming holiday story, leaving everyone with the true spirit of the season.

Candle making workshops

Guests can join cosy candle making sessions throughout December, where they’ll create their own luxury candle. Sessions are available across both hotels and ideal for gifting, ensuring guests get into the festive spirit.
