“Astrea London is revolutionising the diamond industry” – Nathalie Morrison on her Lab-Diamond empire and exclusive collaboration for International Women’s Day

Nathalie Morrison, Founder of Astrea London, has transformed the luxury diamond industry with a bold vision. Her brand is leading the global shift towards lab-grown diamonds, offering a luxurious yet responsible alternative to traditionally mined stones. By merging cutting-edge innovation with timeless elegance, Morrison is setting a new benchmark for ethical fine jewellery, taking the next step in her journey with an exclusive collaboration with luxury fashion entrepreneur and jewellery designer, Catherine Prevost, announced in celebration of International Women’s Day.

The collection will consist of two exclusive sets of rings, necklaces, bracelets and earrings: finery from the forefront of contemporary luxury.

Morrison says “Collaborating with Catherine Prevost is a natural fit—her elegant, contemporary designs align seamlessly with Astrea London’s vision of timeless luxury. This partnership is about more than style; it’s about reevaluating luxury standards and how we see the future of fashion.”

The launch follows the recent showcase of singular art by Zara Muse, who created the world’s first painting that incorporated D, E & F colour diamonds, using stones from Astrea London. As one of the UK’s fastest emerging artists, the piece was sold at the highest price ever received for her work.

The event marked a new era for Astrea London, with Morrison’s vision travelling into new arenas: “Zara Muse’s painting is an inspiring meeting of art and strength—a distinctive vision and presence that embodies the spirit of modern women. Her art is a celebration of creativity and the powerful female; deeply personal, expressive, and timeless, just like Astrea London.”

Since launching in April 2024, Astrea London has experienced extraordinary growth, surpassing £1.5 million in sales. Their latest boutique, located in Fairmont Windsor Park follows their premier launch in Provence’s Villa La Coste and precedes openings in Dubai, Hong Kong, Singapore, Oman and Greece across 2025. Morrison attributes this to consumers being increasingly drawn to diamonds which are optically and chemically identical to mined stones, but come without the environmental and ethical concerns. As demand for lab-created diamonds surges, Morrison predicts a complete market shift within five years, with lab-grown gems expected to dominate over 75% of global diamond sales by 2030, up from 20% in 2023, with her own example leading the way.

The brand offers only D and E colour diamonds, representing the finest 1% of stones globally. Their exquisite designs have captivated high-profile clientele, including supermodel Coco Rocha, who has showcased their pieces at prestigious red-carpet events.

Morrison says “Luxury should no longer come at a cost to the planet.” Her predictions for gem sales pair ambition with evolution: “With Astrea London, I am redefining the industry by offering diamonds that combine beauty, responsibility, and innovationthe position is unique and I’m working hard to forge the new path.”

As International Women’s Day approaches, Morrison’s brand in a traditionally male-dominated industry highlights the power of female entrepreneurs forging the path towards substantial change. With upcoming expansion plans for new international markets and an exclusive partnership with the Four Seasons Membership Club on the horizon, 2025 is set to be a defining year for lab-grown diamonds, with Astrea London at the helm.

The Astrea London x Catherine Prevost collection will be available April 1st 2025.
