Barsmith Review

IMG_5539

Barsmith are a part of award-winning Marylebone Leisure Group, which offer a number of venues around London each with a unique twist. However, Farringdon will be the standout with theTiki theme this summer, as the place pops with vibrance indoors.

This funky pop-up is taking you on a tropical escape out of the city. Kitted out with palm trees, bamboo screens, and the beautiful bespoke carved TIKI Gods.

To continue with the theme, they have extended their menu. They pride themselves with their unique laboratory of infused spirits, mixing the favourites with fruit or even marmite. They will be offering some specialty cocktails including the Zombie, pain killer XOXO to name a few. Don’t be put off though as they are not as potent as you may normally find. I quite enjoyed my Zombie especially when they come out in fancy mini tiki god mug. However, I struggle to pass up a good classic like the Pina Colada especially when they add a coconut macaroon to garnish… yum!

Mouthwatering, spicy HuliHuli Chicken is definitely something to snack on whilst here or maybe get your hands on one of their Pulehu Short Ribs. They also offer a range of pizzas, if that is what you’re in the mood for. They too are quite delicious.

IMG_5534Happy hour (Or should I say hours) is offered here with 2-4-1 cocktails from 7-11pm Monday to Friday, and ALL DAY SATURDAY! Yes I said all day Saturday. Who can pass up a decent happy hour? Particularly when these cocktails are ranging between 8-10 pounds per drink.

Make sure you head on down and see Ben and his team at Barsmith and have yourself a tropical night.
