All Star Lanes Brick Lane Review

burgerWe’ve visited All Star Lanes in Brick Lane before (https://onin.london/all-star-lanes-brick-lane/) so of course we were keen to head down again to try their new summer menu and a spot of bowling.

Sitting at the bar we perused the new Gin and Pin menu, a summer twist on the classic G&T’s. We started off with the WHITE PEACH & JALAPEÑO TOMMY’S MARGARITA (El Jimador Tequila, white peach purée, jalapeños, agave, orange bitters and fresh lime) and the BLOOM G&T (Served with strawberries and lime slices and Fever- Tree Elderflower Tonic). These were a hit and hit the spot to start an enjoyable evening.

The venue has the classic American feel to the bar with the décor and design transporting me back to my holidays travelling through America three years ago. Starting off with a game, my competitive streak came out but alas I was beaten by my friend, Anna

After Bowling we definitely worked up an appetite so we ventured on into the restaurant to try All Star Lanes’ new ‘High Roller’ burger. For only £20, this burger takes centre stage of the new menu. A 6oz pure Wagyu beef topped with a whole fresh lobster tail, homemade crunchy slaw, rocket, Creole mayo, and finished with a skewer of tiger prawns. This burger is pretty big but we devoured it. Everything was utter perfection. From the juicy Wagyu patty, to the decadent lobster tail and the flavoursome Creole mayo… it was delicious. We’re still dreaming about this burger and will definitely be making a trip back to eat another one.

To complement our burgers, we went with the Mac ‘N’ Cheese, Truffle Fries and the Reuben Fries. The food at All Star Brick Lanes is definitely on point and we loved every bite.

The dessert menu is also something special and lucky for those who can’t make up their minds, there is the option to try all three of the main desserts in the menu. You will be really spoilt for choice… three mini desserts on one plate! Heaven! A Salted Caramel fudge brownie, m&m’s cheesecake shot and a key lime pie shot. And to be able to order all three on one plate. I was a very happy girl.

My friend chose the Summer Fizz Float and Fresh strawberries, peach compote, raspberry coulis, vanilla ice cream and elderflower fizz or prosecco to pour all over. Wow I don’t know how this dessert worked but it did. It was a flavour explosion in your mouth.

© giles ChristopherWe’d be amiss to not mention the other cocktails we had during our evening, because they were all spectacular. The ALOHA JAR (Finlandia vodka, pineapple juice, passion fruit, lime and orgeat), the I LOVE NY (Finlandia vodka, Aperol, passionfruit, lemon and apple juice) and the ROCK ROSE G&T (Served with rose petals and lemon slices and Fever- Tree Mediterranean Tonic).

All Star Lanes Brick Lane doesn’t only offer great food, drinks and bowling, they offer Karaoke rooms and private parties. We were treated to the tour of the venue and we were very impressed. All Star Lanes Brick Lane is a short stroll from Liverpool Street Station and it is a popular venue. Make sure you book to avoid disappointment.
