Gaucho Cooking School, The O2

Learn the art of marinating and grilling some of the finest aged Argentinian cuts, giving guests the skills to confidently create a selection of South America’s most popular dishes at home.

A skilled Gaucho master will give you an interactive demonstration of the butchery behind each prime beef cut and learn about some of the signature Argentinian marinating rubs, with an explanation of traditional grilling methods still used in Argentina today.

During the cooking lesson, learn how to cook Tira de Ancho, Lomo and Churrasco de Chorizo (marinating to take home) before enjoying the food in the restaurant.

Le Cordon Bleu

As well as their well known programmes and diplomas, Le Cordon Bleu offers hands-on short courses for anyone with any level (or none!) experience at both their main campus in Bloomsbury and a few select classes at their Fleet Street location (where their restaurant CORD is).

Le Cordon Bleu London runs a wide range of short courses throughout the year, covering everything from artisan baking and patisserie to global cuisines and wine. Even Le Petit Cordon Bleu for children. In honour of their anniversary (130 years this year), they’ve also introduced four special edition courses (2 remaining), each reimagining a classic dish with a modern twist – showcasing the school’s blend of French tradition and innovation.

XI Home Dumplings Bay

This unique culinary experience invites food enthusiasts to roll up their sleeves and learn the art of crafting authentic dumplings from the experts at XI Home Dumplings Bay. 

Led by XI Home’s Head Chef Minnie Wang and Owner Wenjun Xiang, participants will explore the rich traditions of Northern Chinese dumpling-making, from crafting the perfect dough to creating delicious bespoke XI home fillings. 

Classes run every Sunday 3pm-5pm at Xi Home Spitalfields and tickets are £49.46pp.

Macellaio RC

Macellaio, the famed Italian restaurant brand known for its theatrical approach to butchery and authentic cuisine, invites Londoners to roll up their sleeves and dive into their masterclasses! 

Founded by Roberto Costa, Macellaio blends the craftsmanship of traditional Italian butchery with a deep respect for regional ingredients and storytelling through food. 

Food lovers can indulge in masterclasses to teach everything you need to know about Tiramisu, Butchery and Pasta.

Pasta Evangelists Pasta Academy

Foodie fans can enjoy a tasty day out and become experts in making pasta together at the Pasta Evangelists’ Pasta Academy. Available at the Farringdon, Greenwich, Richmond and Chiswick venues, classes range from beginner and advanced to family and Italy-themed sessions, such as “Taste of Amalfi”.

From £68 per person, each two-hour class is led by a Pasta Evangelists Italian chef and includes delicious antipasti on arrival plus unlimited prosecco throughout. At the end of each class, classmates sit down to tuck into their Italian creations while enjoying some well-earned fizz.  Pasta Academy gift vouchers are also available online.
