Best Ever Gooey Brownie Recipe
I have a bit of an obsession with baking. At the moment, it’s all about chewy, fudgy, melt in your mouth gooey brownies. I LOVE making them, even though strangely enough I’m not actually a fan of chocolates, or sweet things in general. This is good for my friends and family who do like brownies as there’s a steady stream of delicious chocolate treats to indulge them in.
As I’m super kind, here is the best ever gooey chocolate brownie recipe. Don’t just take my word for it, give it a go and see for yourself!
Ingredients
1 ¼ cup of plain flour
225 grams of unsalted butter
2 cups of caster sugar
1 table spoon of pure vanilla essence
4 eggs
150grams of chocolate, 70% or stronger!
Method:
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
Sift the flour and salt together and set aside.
Melt the butter and chocolate together in a bowl placed over a saucepan of simmering water.
Add 1 cup of the sugar to the mixture and stir for half a minute, then remove the bowl from the water pan and stir in the vanilla.
Put the remaining 1 cup sugar and the eggs into a mixing bowl and whisk by hand just to combine. Little by little, pour half of the sugar and eggs into the chocolate mixture, stirring gently but constantly so that the eggs don’t set from the heat.
Whip the remaining sugar and eggs until they are doubled in volume.
Delicately fold the whipped eggs into the chocolate mixture. When the eggs are almost completely incorporated, gently fold in the dry ingredients.
Pour into your brownie pan and bake for 20-25minutes. Let brownies cool in the pan for a while before you try to remove as they will be very gooey in the centre!
