Birkenstock Studio: Walk With Me Announces Artist-In-Residence #4: Lee Tiernan
Launched in February 2024 with footwear designer Helen Kirkum, followed by cross-disciplinary artist Jyrrel and designer Pia Schiele, BIRKENSTOCK STUDIO: WALK WITH ME is pleased to announce the fourth artist-in-residence for July, Lee Tiernan.
A technically-accomplished chef whose food was described by Jay Rayner as having “go-faster stripes”, Lee Tiernan is known for not just tearing up the culinary rulebook, but shredding it, roasting it over a hot grill, and serving it up with the occasional sprinkling of edible glitter. He’s a cult hero among chefs and restaurant industry folks, and his restaurant usually feels like a spontaneous party with its shoulder-to- shoulder seating, heavy metal soundtrack, bracing flavours and garish tablecloths.
Lee will host a series of bookable demonstrations and cookouts for visitors to immerse themselves in, enjoy good food and company, and hopefully spark some inspiration for summer.

Throughout July, Lee will be bringing the energy from the team at F.K.A.B.A.M for a unique blend of craft, entertainment, and surprises in the heart of London’s creative food scene, curating a series of workshops with his network of friends who are reshaping the culture of food and entertaining. Expect fun with Mam Sham’s food-comedy mashups, Taste Cadets’ global food adventures and Happy Endings unique culinary parings. Come down, enjoy, and get inspired!
Announcing a two day pop up from FKABAM with Lee Tiernan, he’ll be cooking up a selection of classic dishes to celebrate his residency. More than just a culinary showcase, invite your friends to the showcase to experience exceptional food, cold beers and plenty of fun!

MAM SHAM PRESENTS DINNERS WITH DIALOGUE
Join Mam Sham for a workshop on how to create dinners with a dialogue.
Known for bringing the performance to the plate, Mam Sham produce sellout supper clubs with each course inspired by a comedy act.
Mam Sham will be giving a masterclass on how they deliver these events with a special focus on bringing your ideas to the table (literally).
