Black Cat: Bohemia, Underbelly Festival at Southbank

The Black Cat Cabaret is back in the city at the Underbelly Festival Southbank. Combining high acrobatic feats and spectacular ensemble work with comic turns and live music, the show’s 12-strong cast elevate cabaret and circus packed with glamour.

The show conjures up a psychedelic circus world drawing inspiration from the utopian visions of Angela Carter. Expect see showgirls and burlesque dancers lighting up the stage, to musicians and draw dropping aerialists taking the show to new heights altogether.

It also coincides with the anniversary and 250th Anniversary of the world’s first circus – where Philip Astley first created a rope ring just streets away from Waterloo station.
