Celebrate Chinese New Year At Ping Pong.

Ping Pong Restaurant group has been a firm favourite of Onin.London’s for awhile and we recently visited to try their special menu items which were created to celebrate Chinese New Year 2023, the Year of the Rabbit.

The team created a wonderful array of new dim sum and hot dishes that will be able to be enjoyed by customers. The new dishes included Rabbit dumpling rabbit and chicken meat seasoned with ginger and asian spices, combined with crunchy water chestnut and a hint of garlic, wrapped in translucent pastry; Saffron & carrot dumpling – carrot, cabbage, shitake mushroom, with winter bamboo and radish wrapped in saffron pastry and Fāngxiāng sausage – pork sausage glazed in aromatic asian sauce sprinkled with black & white toasted sesame seeds.

For those with a sweet tooth there is a delicious fluffy Black and gold Bun – fluffy black steamed cantonese bun filled with creamy salted egg custard, the perfect treat to end a Chinese New Year banquet!

We had the Rabbit Dumplings and they were a great! My friend wasn’t game enough to try them but for me they were delicious and it’s a shame they’re not a regular on the menu.

We were also there to try the new Saturday Bottomless Brunch. Priced at £35 Per Person, it includes Free Flowing Drinks and a Dim Sum Set Menu per person. As you can see below, it’s a lot of food!
