The Tea Lounge at The Clermont Victoria Unveils a Spellbinding New Wicked Afternoon Tea Menu 

The Tea Lounge at The Clermont, Victoria, is unveiling a brand new Wicked Afternoon Tea Menu, in partnership with and inspired by the global phenomenon and West End stage musical Wicked, which plays locally at the Apollo Victoria Theatre. 

Launching on 1st November, guests are invited to step into a world of enchantment and indulge in a bewitching new menu that is perfectly timed for the show’s devoted fans and afternoon tea enthusiasts alike. The menu will take guests on a magical journey through sweet and savoury delights, from indulgent cakes and pastel pastries, to elegant finger sandwiches and freshly baked scones. 

The star of the show, the Afternoon Tea Fancies, bring a touch of Oz to the table, starting with The Witch’s Hat, a decadent chocolate brownie base cloaked in a glossy glaze and an Emerald Delight, a zesty lime and white chocolate creation finished with a glossy green glaze. The spell continues with Popular-ly Pink, a delicate raspberry and white chocolate macaron and Spellbinding Temptation, a luscious strawberry and white chocolate mousse atop a soft sponge base, sprinkled with crisp rice pops for a magical touch of texture. 

No afternoon tea is complete without freshly baked scones, served with Devonshire clotted cream and strawberry and raspberry preserves, alongside a selection of savoury finger sandwiches, including smoked salmon and cream cheese, smoked ham with tomato and mustard, classic cucumber and egg mayonnaise. 

To elevate the experience, guests can add a touch of sparkle with a glass of fizz for an additional £10 or choose from two wickedly decadent cocktails: 

• The Wicked: Hendrick’s gin, kiwi purée and cucumber syrup, topped with sparkling wine. 
• The Good: Chambord, raspberry and strawberry liqueurs, finished with sparkling wine.
