Climb Up The O2 – An Unforgettable Adventure

Up at The O2 is an unforgettable experience and I sent my mum up there when she was visiting from Australia and she loved every minute of it.
The climb is suitable for ages eight and over and is a 90 minute guided climb which takes you 52 metres above ground to the top of the iconic roof of the O2. Now I’m too scared of heights but my over 60 year old mum managed like a champ! Once up there she was rewarded with breathtaking 360 degree views across London. So whether you choose a daytime climb (like my mum) or twilight climb… the panoramic scenery makes every step worthwhile. A few friends have done the twilight climbs and had just as much fun as my mum.
The adventure is only priced at £37 and that’s pretty decent for an unforgettable experience. My mum absolutely loved her time climbing Up The O2 and said next time she visits she’d love to do it again.
We would be amiss if we didn’t mention that for anyone visiting this summer, Up The O2 has the Summer Sessions. These are an extra-special way to experience London’s skyline. They take place on selected Friday evenings in July and August and these golden-hour climbs combine spectacular sunset views with a live saxophonist performing classic summer favourites. It creates a truly unique atmosphere high above the city. Guests can also enjoy extended time at the summit for photos, along with a complimentary Captain Morgan & Pepsi Max cocktail or a non-alcoholic alternative. It really does make it the perfect way to spend a summer evening.
