Cutter & Squidge launch ‘Naked’ Postable cake range – available for nationwide delivery for the first time  

Onin.London has been a fan of Cutter & Squidge for years, so you can imagine my excitement when the the cult gifting bakery launched their elevated range of ‘Naked’ Postable cakes. These sophisticated but fun, open sided cakes launched on the 18th of August in four tempting flavours and I was luckily enough to be gifted one. Just in time for my planned baby shower as well. Unfortunately the shower didn’t end up happening due to an unplanned hospitalisation but I still got to try the cake. It ended up having to be bought to the hospital by my friend and I got to taste test it there. Which I must say did make the hospital stay a tad more enjoyable.

Now a lot of bakeries these days don’t deliver their speciality cakes but Cutter and Squidge have upped the game so now their delicious cakes can be enjoyed all over the country as they are available for delivery nationwide.  As well as adding Tiramisu and Passionfruit & Pistachio flavours to the collection, they’ve created new and improved recipes for their already popular Chocolate Squidge and Lemon & Blueberry cakes – which were previously only available to London customers. 

The Naked Postable cake collection features:

Tiramisu is the newest addition to Cutter & Squidge’s flavour line up. This cake features chocolate sponge paired with velvety smooth coffee buttercream. With coffee-soaked sponge fingers intertwined into the layers to add the authentic and rich flavour of a true tiramisu, this is bound to be a coffee lover’s dream.

Blueberry Lemon Cheesecake is staying true to Cutter and Squidge’s beloved flavours and already a firm favourite among their London customers. This iconic vanilla sponge, layered with zingy lemon curd and a vibrant blueberry jam has even had a delightful recipe update to celebrate the launch of the nationwide collection. Topped with a sweet blueberry buttercream alongside freeze dried blueberries and candied lemon, this cake is a celebration of summer in every slice.

The NEW Passionfruit and Pistachio cake gives a tropical feel with an iconic and irresistible vanilla sponge soaked in zingy passion fruit, layered with pistachio buttercream married perfectly with passionfruit curd and a crunchy pistachio puree for that perfectly textured bite.

The Chocolate Squidge is a rich chocolate cake layered with silky chocolate buttercream and salted caramel. Filled with Cutter and Squidge‘s exclusive Chocolate Dream Bar (packed with honeycomb and biscuit crumbs) and topped with more buttercream, brownie bites, fudge pieces, digestive biscuits and chocolate crispearls, this decadent dessert is a crowd pleaser for any occasion. Already popular with their London customers, the team have created a new and improved recipe alongside their new cake flavours for the nationwide collection.

We went with the Blueberry Lemon Cheesecake and it was incredible! I honestly could have eaten the whole cake myself but did share it with friends.

These brand-new cakes will also have an optional cake topper in the form of a chocolate disc, which can be personalised with the customer’s own message; Happy Birthday, Happy Retirement, Virgo Season and more. Mine did say Tegan’s Baby Shower which was a cute touch!
