Diplomático Rum and The Beaumont Mayfair launh Diplomático After Dark
This February, Diplomático Rum partners with The Beaumont Mayfair to launch Diplomático After Dark, a refined cocktail experience hthat reimagines the classic nightcap for late-night London.
Created in collaboration with the award-winning Le Magritte bar, the experience runs from 5th February to 5th April 2026 and introduces a short menu of four cocktails designed to be enjoyed as an indulgent end to the evening.
The menu includes Diplomático After Dark, a rich and bittersweet blend of Diplomático Reserva Exclusiva, Green Chartreuse, Amaro Averna and Antica Formula with chocolate bitters and orange zest. Golden Mirage layers Diplomático Reserva Exclusiva with amaretto and coffee liqueur, finished with cherry. Bitter Velvet adds Fernet Branca and orange zest for a deeper, more complex serve, while Mantua Spice offers a lighter option, combining Diplomático Mantuano with Benedictine, The King’s Ginger and ginger ale, garnished with cinnamon.
Guests of the bar, restaurant and hotel can enjoy the cocktails as part of a theatrical tableside ritual. A bespoke Diplomático nightcap trolley is brought directly to the table, where a dedicated butler prepares each chosen cocktail in front of guests, bringing the performance and precision of the bar into the moment.
The Diplomático After Dark cocktails have been created by Le Magritte’s Assistant Bar Manager, Giovanni Dellaglio, who says of the partnership, “Working with Diplomático has allowed me and the team the opportunity to experiment and create four unique cocktails using a selection of Diplomático’s range. The theatrics of making cocktails in front of the guests at their table is different to anything we’ve done before, and provides a great opportunity to interact with our guests even more.”
