Director’s Box Opens at Boxpark Wembley
Director’s Box is the newest addition to Boxpark Wembley, launched on 7 May as a dedicated space for sports screenings, private parties, corporate away days and VIP stadium experiences. Built by fans for fans, it’s designed to bring people together in comfort and style.
Entry is on the second floor, where the bar greets you straight ahead. To the left, several wooden benches set a casual, sociable tone — perfect for groups sharing food and conversation. Up on the mezzanine, the atmosphere shifts: warm orange seating contrasts against dark walls, creating a cozy yet contemporary lounge. Four low round tables make it easy to rest a drink or lean in for a chat, while a slim row of bar stools lines the rail for anyone wanting a better view of the space below or the large screens. Nearby, there’s high‑top tables and stools. The entire space encourages movement and mingling, keeping the energy flowing. Wherever you land, you’ve got a clear view of the crystal clear 4K screens around the room, which play two games at once.

All drinks are served in glassware — a nice touch. We enjoyed Prosecco, a sweet and zesty limoncello cocktail, and a light, refreshing Hugo Spritz.
As for food, you can order from any of Boxpark’s traders. We were provided with various bites— buffalo chicken and beef brisket burgers, vegetable gyozas, salmon sushi, cornbread and, of course, fries. I’m fairly local to Boxpark and have tried most of the traders over the years, and honestly, they never miss.
The night’s surprise highlight was Akon, who appeared for a short but high‑energy set, performing “I Wanna Love You,” “Beautiful Day,” and “Smack That.” It was an unexpected moment that lifted the whole crowd, with everyone singing and dancing along.

The Director’s Box holds up to 220 standing or 130 seated guests. For private hire, the furniture can be rearranged or removed entirely, making the space adaptable for any event. And for convenience, there are two all‑gender toilets within the room — no need to head downstairs.
